Bensen Days April 14-19 2009

Congratulations Ron!
Glad to hear Shannon and the baby are well and hope her recovery is quick and easy. And happy you'll make it.

I'm at work all this weekend doing tax returns and extensions and Joe is out in Geneva getting things ready for the trip and will be loading his gyro and my PPC on our trailer. We will leave Orlando area Wed 4/15 after I efile the last of the extensions! I'll fall into a crumpled heap in the passenger seat for Joe to drive us down to the Best Western.
I'm excited about it----thanks to it being after 4/15 I'm going to my first BD! I look forward to meeting so many of those I only know by name or avatar. Hopefully my brain functions will return to normal while I'm decompressing in Wauchula... if I act like a natural blonde, please know that it's only a side/after effect....

Safe trips everyone!

Glad to hear all is well, Ron ! Congratulations !!!!!!

Ron, there's no way you can leave know, if Shannon had a c-section, she'll need all the help you can give.

Lewis & Jim (PRA #56) came out to RMG and helped me pack up the GyRonimo onto the trailer. I'm ready to roll as soon as my tax returns arrive for me to sign.

Congratulations Ron and Shannon! It is good that you'll be able to make it...and BETTER than everything ended up OK with the new kid-ling.

Congratulations Ron. Glad to hear your be joining us for fun and games too.

Thanks everyone. Shannon is doing well all things considered. She really needs some sleep, she has been up since 6am Friday morning and hasn't slept yet. The baby is doing great.... Took a pee not 3 minutes out of the woob, and has taken at least 4 poops today, looking at everything through pretty blue eyes. He looks like me, only alot more cute.

I am still planning on coming down to Florida. I have mixed emotions, but frankly I think it is best. Our 6 yr old son is extremely hyper and clingy, and would bug the crap out of the wife if we stayed. Me and him getting outta here will give Shannon and the baby plenty of quiet time to rest and relax. Her Mom, My Mom, my sister, and one of her best friends, all will be here to help out. I really would be more of just a pain in the ass to her than a help. I don't plan to leave till Wednesday at the earliest. See you all there

Ron,
She'll be fine with you and Kasey out of the way. My daughter just had another baby a month ago. We went up to visit her and brought her 2 boys back home with us and kept them for a week. She was glad to have some time with just her newborn.
