Thanks for that. That brought back some memories. That was not a good place for an engine out. I got lucky on that one. It was fun to fly in the dunes, but the whole time I was thinking my instructor told me not to fly over anything I did not want to land on, and there was not one spot where I wanted to land. We had to carry the gyro about a 1/4 mile to get it to that point.
