Just for you BoneyM...

The head line reads something to the effect of:
"Product Piracy, China undisputed leader"

(Google translator...not perfect...but helpful indeed..!)

One quote from this article should serve to remind us of recent problems involving Infant formula and Pet food that actually had the end effect of KILLING some people & animals using these products:
"the health and safety of consumers (is) at risk and seriously harmed legally operating companies,"

Unrelated to this thread, but an indicator of very deep problems withing their own markets re: quality/safety....

"In China, Fear of Fake Eggs and ‘Recycled’ Buns"
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/08/world/asia/08food.html

The citizenry within China are paying with their lives...and now trust no one, even the legitimate sources of quality.

(Try Googling "china food safety" for an REAL eye opener).

Just saying..!

================

(Albert recently suffered food poisoning...my understanding is it nearly cost him his life.
I'm glad he DID recover, as I wish him no ill will.
But how ironic it is he fails to see how his involvement in pushing such products...counterfeit or reverse engineered or simply pirated.
The laws of cause and effect in action).

M-M.

This is very sad, many babies died taking the milk, and some probably will never full recover, the government did pay retribution for those mothers losing their offspring’s, since China is ruled by one child policy, the mothers, if they wished could have another pregnancy. (Hmmm) While I am not a believer of the dead penalty, after a very brief court hearing those offending business man and the government health inspectors were all executed. Curiously too, it was widely publicized on TV, radio and the press. Soon after this incident others come with better ideas to taint food, we will only find their fates by news of their execution.

Thanks
Albert

Here are some facts (the opposite of myth): Of all the goods seized by European customs in 2009 because of counterfeiting or plagiarizing of merchandise 94% came from China
From here:

So much for Chinese abidance by the laws of copyright

Thanks for the link, very interesting, and unknown to me, while China without any doubt are # 1 in counterfeiting , Germany only managed to get the third place, followed by French and Italians. Reading further in the link you posted all this is done with the politician and business man keep their eyes firmly closed. Chemical imaging specialists in Germany are demonstrating how data derived from reverse engineering of counterfeit pharmaceutical tablets sold at German pharmacies are used to persecute the guilty ones. Counterfeits are not the same as reverse engineering.

Thanks

Speaking of things copied and 'reverse engineered' in the aircraft industry...

take a plywood skin, change it to Alclad w/ insulation, mass-produce it (an American 'invention'), add a few American comforts, and name it yours. The following link echo's some other OPINIONS existing on the web...and we all know the absolute truths' of the internets!!

http://www.centennialofflight.gov/essay/Aerospace/post_WWI/Aero6.htm
Ford's most successful aircraft was the Ford 4AT Trimotor—called the “Tin Goose” ...It used a new alloy called Alclad that combined the corrosion resistance of aluminum with the strength of duralumin. The plane was ("extremely" my comments) similar to Fokker's V.VII-3m, and some say that Ford's engineers surreptitiously measured the Fokker plane and then copied (i.e. reverse-engineered) it.

PLEASE ALL, I am NOT taking 'sides' in the discussion, but invention and novelty are traditionally under the jurisdiction of US and other (if they exist) Courts of Law under their respective patent and trademark codes Very sadly, getting something novel and ground-breaking patented, at least in the US, is almost impossible without a cadre of lawyers paid for by the buyers of previous products or perhaps rich grandparents.
Good ole' true capitalism!!

We do not HAVE to buy the 'copied' gearbox. I myself will most likely purchase Mr. Hintz's gear because the price is fair and it has a substantial history. All the rhetoric aside; if the 'copied' device from China comes to these shores, is proven reliable and safe - etc., then a market will exist here. If it is a bucket of excrement, then Se la vie. Until then, I see no usefulness in hammering and deriding '1946' until we have something we can really denigrate and burn in effigy if necessary and warranted.

My highly deflated 2 centavos.

The history of the airplane is a big shame . . .
. . and while we are at it . . .remember Bell, the phone guy, he is now the phony guy!
Heron

The deflated centavos sounded pretty good to me.

The nugget.

Albert is trying to do a job. Hopefully learned some of the obstacles he faces in one of his market places.

This discussion gave the creeps now . . .
I rememberd that movie where people only lived up to thirty y/o and went away . . ..to a factory and transformed in food . . .
People eat crap if the govt says so or allows it to happen.
The enemy is us . . .no matter what he looks like!
Heron

I think Heron has two movies combined. Sollent Green did process people for food, but Logan's Run was the Thirty year life before being reborn.

I do like you deflated post, even in disagreement we all should go along and in between the lines we all can learn from each other and thus the purpose of this forum. I am of the opinion inventions, innovations and their like should be not for one, or corporations, it should be available for mankind. I am not forcing any one to buy our products nor diminishing other people products, after all we are all grown up boys and mechanical savvy and able to discern and compare the innovations, quality and adaptability of product to the other one, and ultimately, the price we are prepared to pay. In the meantime, we are developing on a bell housing to take our Aero 11 and the Aero 22, for the implementation on German made BMW engines.

Thanks
Albert

Innovations and inventions are available to all mankind.

For a price. Royalties and licensing fees are often minuscule compared to the research and development costs invested by the original designer.

If the inventor and innovator is not paid for his work , he would have no incentive to develop anything.

The counterfeiters and knock-offs would have nothing to copy.

The Asian advantage is low cost labor. Plenty of (good) (and authorized) manufacturing is done in China.

The theft of technology is not required for Asian success.

Santos Dumont did just that with his inventions, but he was born with a silver spoon available.
So, lets move to the other step?
Is this reduction good? Will it be available? Will there be spare parts, maintenance, warranty?
What does it fit?
Is the original better? Worth the price?
Opinions must be comparative, please?
thanks

Okay Albert, This is the simple question, can you answer it without trying to "switch", who is your company? , Who is this company ? where are they located ? , these are normal questions, what is their phone number WE would like to hear and talk to this company, and their products.

The Website, and a direct link

Not having completed the agreements with North America representative, I don’t have authority to disclosed it at this point, till negotiations have been finalized. I am sure in weeks to come a full disclosure will be made to interested parties. Unless you are able to speck Chines, no point into disclosing the company phones numbers, the girls don’t speak English, other to say, the company is a full paid up WOFE and duly registered in the Province of Shandong. Yes, we have web pages in Chinese, the developer still working on the English translation. If desperately want to talk to me personally, if you so wish, I would email you my number, otherwise you can always contact me via email.

Thanks
Albert

I don’t know, either you can’t read or suffer of some lack of comprehensions difficulties , either way , as outlined at the forum , our position won’t change. Like others you must wait the outcome of the negotiations. If in the negative for whatever reason, and since the North American experimental, let alone the Canadian market, is not worth of our investment, most probably the boxes/engines won’t offered direct from our factory. As it is, China buys all we can make. Lastly, and due to you obnoxious and childish behaviors, I am not longer willing to pass you may contact numbers.

I think you are very confused, we don’t have anything to prove to you, apparent lack of judgments makes you do and say erroneous statements. I think, best we leave your problem with the administration.

Thanks
Albert
