Some years back I stopped to refuel in a Stearman and pulled up to the pumps next to a Piper Tomahawk. Both were two seat trainers, a few generations apart, but the Piper looked so tiny by contrast that it was truly amazing, and I found myself looking down on it from above while still firmly on the ground.
