Just heard a friend mention that this evening. He said it was on the news and 6g's short of 200g.

Light Sport?????

Think I'll stick to a gyro and my car.

They keep trying the whole car thing?

194k for 115mph aircraft two place
-113K for 118Kts Skycatcher two place
- 35K for a new four place car or rentals over 10 years.
-----
= 46K overpriced

And on top of that it'll be mediocre at best both flying & driving, too many compromises.

Man, I’d sure hate to think about getting wing-dinged by a shopping cart in the Wal-Mart parking lot… That might punch a hole right through the skin….

They flew this last year, and there were some write ups and video, but since it really does not rotate, they had to scream down the runway at max speed before it took off. Although very interesting and innovative....I do not think it will be a good aircraft, or a good car either. :)

One of the engineers and developers behind this is from my hometown of Paxton, I'll. Last name is Schweighart. Can't remember his first name. I built a curved stairway for his brother, and would hear them talking about it. I have to hand it to the guy, pretty amazing what he has done. He is just out of college . Stan
