Dan ordered some gyro DVDs from me. He bought the Soma a couple years ago and then wasn't able to follow through with training. He sold the rotors to someone looking for rotors so it will need new rotors. He is asking around $6,000. Located in Wisconsin.

I never heard of that type of gyro..It looks like a Sport Copter...Can anybody tell me anything about it...

It's kind of a sport copter clone but it doesn't have a stepped keel like the sport copter does.

Seroiusly, very good flying gyro, nice and stable, flys hand and feet off. I have a 65hp hirth so I am sure it performs better than a 503. very happy with it. if you need any parts you will have to make them, none available.
I wonder if he would sell it with out the engine, I do have a suzuki 530 already set up to go.

Between not able to get training and a truck wreck , I am selling this beauty.
As to parts, most of them you can get through sport copter, it is that close in dimensions, I know I have the sport copter assembly manual which list part length and sizes, Virtually almost the same dimentionally, but no drop keel, which could be done easily. Has only about 35 hrs on it and is stored in my pole building. I was told it was built and designed by Scott Malone who was a former s.c. employee.

Dan, I've flown ultrlight planes but always wanted a gyro. What size main rotors would work well with your gyro and what would the approx. cost be? Besides the rotor, what condition is the rest of the gyro in? engine, etc. Would I have to spend anymore money to get ready to fly? I live up in Hartford, so your close by. All I have to do is some fast talking with the wife and hope she's in a good mood.

Go with the 23ft Dragon wings, about $1500=shipping, best money you can spend.

I have the same gyro, 23ft blades and 65hp Hirth engine, very nice, flys well.
