FAA new ACS and PTS are published

Here is the links for the new ACS and PTS. All categories

Thank you for posting the link Raul.

I don’t see Sport Pilot, Gyroplane or Sport Pilot, Gyroplane CFI or Private Pilot, Rotorcraft Category, Gyroplane or Commercial Pilot, Rotorcraft Category Gyroplane or CFI Rotorcraft Category Gyroplane.

These are the tests I am the most interested in as a Rotorcraft Category Gyroplane CFI.

It was my understanding that they had not addressed Gyroplanes yet.

What is your opinion about the apparent omission Raul?

Hi Vance

The FAA made some changes, revisions, additions to the sport pilot. The Proficiency Check—Sport Pilot— is updated. More update are going to come in this section by next year.

FAA certification group is working on some of the new requirements for sport pilot. When the mosaic and new pilot/instructor requirements are approved, we will get a new sets of documents. All of these document will be Effective May 31, 2024
