No idea as yet. What you see is a full size mock up of the rotor system just to demonstrate its reqrd size, number of blades etc. Its an idea i have been working on for some time. The objective being to provide very high inertia with a low overall weight rotor system. I made a five feet dia scale model of the rotor which was evaluated by FDA at a local university. the results were positive, but untill i can test a full size rotor i have no idea what nasty gremlins might appear. I built the mk4 machine especially to take the ring rotor it weighs 365 pounds and is powered by a watercooled Yamaha fsr. In order to test hover the machine i am making a pair of composite blades. Manufacture of the ring rotor ell follow later. thanks Bug
