Would you like us to leave you 2 alone for a while?
If you wouldn't mind Tim!!!! Geez, Brian we might start some rumours!!!

Aussie Paul.:)

paul,

Ok, I will buy yours then. ITs not about looks, its about weight and winglets...

I wonder how much shipping would cost Paul? Aircommands stabs aren't cheap, I think they are around 1000$

Bill: Heres a picture of my Parham stab on the RAF I had. It had 2 degrees leading edge down with reference to the keel.

Worked very nice.......and felt very stable. Pat Mcnears machine is a different animal....2.5 engine that is cranking almost 200 horses. I agree with Ron that the further back the better. If I recall Pats was back another 20 inches.

If you want Pats cell number...PM me and I will pass it along. I dont feel it proper to publically give it out without Pats permission.

Stan

2 degrees neg AoA would likely still be positive pitch

Air Command Large H/S with winglets $ 850.00.

Nice priced. But only for square tube keel which comes on the CLT Kit.

Stan, I know you're really into your Hawk and rightfully so, but...IMO, you won't get those beautiful tail shots of your RAF, as in your Post #17; with your Hawk.

My reasoning is that you can get the whole rudder and more than half of the HS in the RAF shot whereas you can't with your Hawk. Maybe extend your camera on a long stick?!;)

Not puttin' the Hawk down...it's a fine aircraft...talkin' strictly photos, specifically, tail shots. Can you believe, there are a couple malcontents that think *tail shots* are a silly waste of time?!

Cheers :)
