2 unscheduled landings in 1 day

Paul, you have again validated my statement.

I am an optimist and I thought that perhaps I did not understand the words and phrases you were using and there was some meaning hidden by a language barrier.

I am not able to hear or understand the voices in your head.

It may be my limitation as your perception of reality appears so divergent from mine.

Thank you, Vance

Vance: I occasionally attempt to be vaguely educational ,I hope that I am, once in a while, slightly entertaining, but what would any credulous cretin say if a Nobel Prize winner said that there are invisible gnomes running around sh****ng gold nuggets. Should we just take his word for it because he won a prize? And that’s where I really start to fume out my nostrils: when I read your prophesies and personality analyses being done on other people and others accept it as gospel. My sense of smell is generally weak, but the stench of your charlatanism burns my nose, and while a mere enthusiast may easily be acting on good faith, a professional software marketeer, shoveling out large quantities of detailed nonsense, must be intentionally dishonest or suffering acute mental constipation and/or pathologically incompetent to understand the basic answer to your question.

Thank you , raton

Rat - a heads up for you:

On the first two counts mentioned above - it is my personal opinion that you are failing badly in both cases. :boink: (and here was me thinking all this time that you came to ask questions and learn.)

And just a point of observation on your last paragraph; Gee, your grasp of the English language has improved miraculously in the last few days! (you haven't been play-acting until now, have you?)

And finally; I, for one, enjoy every one of Vances posts (but especially the ones where he has sly dig at stirrers :flame:)

Mate.. you are losing money, maybe your cows are dancing prima donnas but cattle are prone to stress-induced weight loss, known as 'shrinkage, stressed cows before the slaughter have llow glycogen reserves and less lactic acid, leading to a higher pH. and the meat will be less tender therefore Japs/Chinese pay less,
Crikey, is there nothing that this bloke is not an expert at???
So you recon you can do mustering with a gyro, so what would you do with a mad fat bull charging at you with and idling gyro, pull pitch to get out of the way...?
And I thought Mighty Mouse said he had some helicopter time???.
raton said:
autogyro is a lift-generating craft, a helicopter is a tilted-thrust aircraft.
Expert ??? I rest my case.

I agree that no one can be that stupid - so those that suggested that raton has just come here to rattle a few chains and stir a few people are obviously correct. Unfortunately it has been a big waste of precious time for some and a source of some unfortunate information for those who did not wake up. He caught a few drips - myself included. I noticed Chuck, Doug, Jim, Greg, Al, (etc) were too smart to get caught. I think I have a bit too much faith in human nature. Makes me feel a fool!!

I must apoligise to Shawn for helping derail his thread.

I think perhaps that Shawn would understand.

In the main, while we all succumb to being diverted, the forum is a source of education, the sharing or information, of a common love, of something which transcends the boundaries of nation space and time. Flight. We leave the earth and fly.

We enjoy this place, derive friendship here, and the occasional argument.

There are those, always in life, the less gifted, the incompetent, the ignorant. Those also who excel in some form or another, to whom we look up to strive to emulate. Those who have achieved, won recognition, and that we hold in high regard.

Then also the mean spirited; those who mock, trick, seek to trap, to humiliate. Who play at being one with us. Who sadly will always be apart... and they know it.

Resasi,I do agree with you however do do need to read post 85.What does it say in light of your last post?
Tim,What does he mean by sec 95.10?
Kym.

Kym, I do not know what raton's reference to 95.10 is.??
95.10 is the basic Australian fixed wing Ultralight aircraft category - I do not know how it relates to Gyroplanes - I must be "asleep at the wheel" again. (must be an in house joke, it went straight over my head??)

I know

I know

I have been doing some investigating work and have figured out who Raton is.
I could be wrong, never have been before, but I think he is Birdy's mate from Aileron Station, north of Alice. He flies, or did fly a 47 and would know everything about mustering with chopers versus gyro's and would know everything else also.
I think we have all been conned.
am I right Birdy???:flame:

Graeme.

Shawn, call Doug at Air Command for a price on a new 503.

Hope you get one soon......of course I'd like to see your install also !

Shawn did you read this ?

Uh OH ! This is the first time I have used the quote button !

Now I will be repeating everyones' posts....LOOK OUT !

Working as a heli mustering companies in Australia (since you can’t remember your hr) most probably they would give you a job since you could not prove you have 500hr dual time, R22 (main rotor rpm governor) Betta 2 This is perhaps offering your services in to the cattle mustering with your gyro without any luck, even if by any chance you get a job it would be totally illegal under SECTION 95.12 CAO 95.12.. you can ask you mate Tim McClure if not sleeping at the wheel he should know. By the way the posted video compares the hollybirdywood to a real mustering pilot
You really are a wanker, it is about the cost per head yarded, now if we do the job for peanuts, why use a heli.
you could not prove you have 500hr dual time, R22
And please tell me the uneducated where this come from, damn i can go and buy a R22 tomorrow and start mustering.

So if these gyros are no good for mustering why then do you think we do it???

You do some spotting a bit of pushing around but you can hover, turn in your axis or get back and line up the cow

Birdy this is sad isnt it?

Why do you think Birdy asks for gyros to muster every year and not a heli???

Gyro mustering (and I say that very lightly) cost peanuts, heli mustering got to have money boy, 9.000 cows one needs 3 helis to keep’em in line

Man you must really have a good handle on yourself, cause if you think about how are they going to handle all these 9000 head, that is one really big set of yards wanker, a really big mob would be 2000 at the most.

What makes you think there is a team of ground crew every time we muster??

Did know you send out invitation cards to the cows for a party at the pens

Pens huh yeah you really got OZ sorted hehehehe

Can you explain why the ends of my rotors are green then????

Well one could be acute blindness ,just bloody stupid taking risk or painted them green to make you look cool, in any event rotor clipping could be fatal. I used to be very careful turning downwind, especially above trees no to bad close to ground, buy hundred feet up in a gyro..? flat country, mate if you don’t know, gusty wind, heat making horrible thermals and some turbulence that will make shake even your bones

Yep you got to watch those down wind turns at buy hundred feet, Man i hope you turn up to the Nats in WA this will be interesting.
I invite you to come and fly with me FREE of charge, and i guarantee you will change your mind.
Thanks mate, I have my own toys to fly with.

Yep another reason why i want to see what you fly :D

Tim ,I think raton was refering to 95.12.
Bones ,is gyro mustering legal or legal for payment,if not what about insurance. In my opinion it is not on both accounts.
Birdy are you covered. Our organsation is finding difficult to find insurance.Do you think you are shooting us in the foot? Are you all damaging us for further legislations that would be in our favour? Lots of questions, however think about it.
Think of the consequences!!! All this is in writing and if anything happens then there is no hiding.
Kym.

I can muster at any time anywhere, i just dont get rewarded for it simple, so where is the problem????

Kim, mustering in a gyro is as legal as mustering in a Cessna or Piper.
Graeme, you could be right, but I would have thought that Birdy would have been more choosy with his mates.
I would like to ask Mighty Mouse though:- (simple straight forward answers will do)
1. How many hours do you have up as PIC in helios?
2. How many hours do you have up solo in Gyroplanes?

Bosca re post 85.

Birdy on this forum has principally sought information, and participated in the attempts most of us make here in understanding where the limits are in gyro flying.

He contributes with his experience in gyros which greatly exceeds most.

When provoked he responds, as do any here.

When newcomers who have contributed little but provocation arrive and start stirring, they should not be surprised when they are not welcomed with open arms.

Resasi,When on this instance have I sturred and provoked???
Tim, Don't you have to be endorsed to do mustering in a FW with consideration of flying under 500 agl and insurances.
Tim ,do you have to be a politician to critisize the Prime Minister
Kym
