Hey Everyone,
A good friend of mine. Jack Norris wrote a book on the science behind propellers. The title is: PROPELLERS The First, and Final Explanation. A very detailed and easy to understand book on the best designs for propellers using classic Betz propeller logic and Goldstein, Theodorsen math.
Vance recently met him and purchased a copy of his book at the beginning of the month at Santa Paula Airport. I have a copy too and it's great reading.
Jack's book is actually two books in one. The other side is: The Logic of Flight. The Thinking Man's Way to Fly.
Jack is a bonified Rocket Scientist. He's the designer of the reaction rockets for the Apollo Space Program and was the Technical Director for the Voyager around the world flight.
