You need to install octave, the free Matlab(R) clone, to use it.

Greetings Kolibri. I am interested in this program - I have downloaded it and installed Octave, but I cannot find a "readme" or manual for how to run it - is there one?

Sorry, there is none. Just load the file JumpTakeOff.m in the editor and press Start (the multiple cog wheels) and it should run fine. Thereafter just modify the parameters. A very important one is the tip weight (which does not exist for modern blades). Just ask here if you have problems.
