New Tower going UP - KFDK

This is the new tower under construction at my home airport. We have been one of the busiest non-towered airports in Maryland for a long time. Being just outside the DC ADIZ and 15 miles south of Camp David, it was only a matter of time. We get the President on occasion when Camp David is socked in with low clouds or fog. They land here and motorcade to Camp David. What a way to spend tax dollars.!!

Maybe by flying into the smaller airport they are going to save lots of fuel and time and this will help reduce the national budget deficet, ----- of course I could be wrong ???

More likely: "Gyroplane N---...make short approach...first available taxiway. Traffic behind you on 5 mile final is a heavy jet.." or "Gyroplane N---...turn left heading nnn hold South at the VOR until further notice."

Either is tower-speak for "Get out of the way...stay out of the way...we hate you a lot and your mother dresses you funny."

...well, maybe not that last bit
