Hey that is pretty cool, Now that both my Sons are in college and out of the house...I just figured out what MP3 was, I don't have a clue what MP4 is, but cool video anyhow.

The lens on his camera is a wide angle lens so it makes it look like he's a lot higher than he actually is.

Birdy, The head-camera is great, you can almost read the pilots mind.
The engine noise would be great so we could hear the power management
as well.

It was interesting how the 300 cows were all lined out with the bull catchers in the rear driving them. When you want them to turn do you go to the front opposite the direction you want them to go. In the vid they seemed to be going along the side of the road.
Tell Lizzy to post more. more. more. Add sound also if you will. Learned a lot from this vid.

Anythn from 6" to just enuff to clear them.
Its a helmet camera, a remote lens thats velcroed to the top of he headset and is plugged into the mp4 thingy in me pocket.
The lens on his camera is a wide angle lens so it makes it look like he's a lot higher than he actually is.
Yeh Tim, the standard lens sux, it throws everythn away. I think its an 8mm. Iv but 2 others and one is bigger n the other is smaller. Which one would hav the pic closer to reality?
And iv tried all the bright settings on the 'ligh' part of the program, but its still too light.
How could i tone it down? [ its even got a tinted lens infrunt of the camera, but its still too light]
Thom, there wasa fence on the side of the road, thats why nuthn crossed it. But yeh, if you want it to go west, hit it on the east side.

Great seeing you at 'work' Birdy. Probably one of these lucky folk who's job is their love. Liked seeing the stragglers cut back to the herd. Certainly does speed up that job. Back on the farm in the old days on foot and in real slow motion.

On the lenses, the smaller the size the wider the angle. To get an angle that makes things look closer go with a bigger number. I think the lens in this video was a 6mm. I want to get an 8mm to try with it.

Yes, the horison is flat with that lens. The one im usen has the curved horison. ill try the bigger one then. [ soons i figure how to get the frign lens outa the remote ]

On my bullet-camera it has a lens cover that unscrews so the lens is accessible.
The lens won't have any effect on the brightness of the video. Most of these little cameras have an automatic iris that constantly adjusts the lens. In my video using my little camera the iris is always changing making the colors and brightness constantly changing. The cameras get better and better every year with each newer model. For the price and size they do a pretty good job.
