Hi!
This is my first post here and sadly I have to sale my gyro.
I bought it used from Charles Bruno and i didn't fly with it, I just didn't have the time.
But I did some upgrades on it with Jim Logen. Also it's been hangared from day one since it's been built./Charles also had it in the hangar./

Here are some info about the gyro:
My gyro got the airworthiness certificate in August 4, 2000.
It has 127 flight hours. My tail number is N-625TL. It has a horizontal stabilizer, and custom painting. The engine is fuel injected. Instrumentation you can see it in the picture.
They are brand new ones, just installed.
Icom 200,transponder, compass, oil temp, vertical speed indicator, carb temp which you can replace for outside temp/brand new in the box/.
Also, the strob lights with red and green side lights/markers/ are brand new, they are still in the box, and never been installed, only wired.
In addition, I have a lots of extra parts.
If you have any questions about the sale, please call me at 201-925-5173, but if you have any questions about the gyro, upgrades, etc., please call Jim at 516-428-7770.the price i'm asking is $29000.
i find it on this forum..
i have exactly same HS like this:

Since Jim Logan fooled with it, is it still airworthy?

Aw, c'mon Larry, what's that supposed to mean??

Jim Logan can fool around with my machine at any time. I have confidence in what he does. He fools around with his own machine, plus, Jim Logan is one of the premier gyro and Helo pilots around.

Cheers :)

Harry: Larry is just being Larry....he has a high level of humor...

Larry: by the way....what do you mean that I am a capitalist running dog pig?

Stan

Harry. I expected a response from Jim, not you!!! He needs to come to his own defense once in a while. He is a lurker.
He called me one night while I was on the road and had me convinced that he was behind me as a police officer and that I was to pull over or else. I almost did when it dawned on me how in heck he got my cell number as a pursuing cop? Then it hit me. The voice was somewhat familiar. He sure had me going. So don't defend the old bugger. And my question still stands.
P.S. One other question. Is Jim Gay? He and Ron Awad sure seemed to have more fun in Jim's gyro than appeared normal for two males using the guise of a gyro ride.Stan made the same remark. You can trust a running mad dog capitolist pig's intuition every time. I think what gave Jim away was the french kiss attempt on a bystander.(I have all this on video. Should I post it on UTUBE?

Rob, you have a nice gyro. Hope you get your price. The RAF is sure worth it. I love mine. I used it over the weekend for a cross country to a flyin and it sure got lots of positive attention. Only thing I don't like about it is the constant requests for a ride from strangers.Though I do honor the requests from lightweight blonds, brunetts, and redheads. Would you believe if they just fit in the safty harness?

Larry you ole bugger. I have been told by my wife I can't give any rides to good looking women. LOL..... I told her she would need to start riding with me. My Gyro is a babe magnet. I have had several ask for rides. Ha.

At my age, I ain't real particular. It might be my only way to get them to squeal with delight! He he!In my gyro I tell them I will introduce them to the 500 club. They ask what's that? I take them up to 500 ft and that's it. They look puzzled cause they expect more.At my age there ain't no more!!!!

Rob!! Looks like Tom and I changed the theme a little. Sorry.

Will someone buy this super RAF before it's to late? You'll love it and let's keep it in the east where we can get together with the other RAF owners and have flyins and cross country rallies. The other brands are either trailered or lurk at the airport they are based at. Not RAF owners. We go where the action is and in comfort.(there! A plug for the RAF)

Also it is best to change the subject before I get in trouble with the wife!!

yes i kinda know the RAF feeling, but i sadly can't keep it anymore. We /with Jim/ spend alots of hours to make it as perfect as possible. When finally it's done , i have to sell it.
i got more then 40 hours flight time with Jim,so i really feel sad to see this dream go away....
When my wife will finish her school in 2009 , I'm planning to come back to the gyro scene :)

By the way ,i have NO, absolutly no negative experience with Jim.
I have great respect towards to him, to try to help me as much as He can .
Altough my english is not that great. I know Him more than 5 years. I got introduced by one helicopter pilot friend from Jersey to him. Since then, i have a very good relationship with him. Personally i have no bad experience any aviation guy so far. So i do like this community./if its a right word for that/
But He is the most helpfull one so far. :)
thanks for the responses !
Rob :)

Rob, I sure do hope you find a new home for your machine...it's a beauty.

And Larry, Jim called me and straightened me out regarding your comment. :D

I guess I'm too parochial when it comes to deciphering some posts. Sorry.

Anyhow, we RAF'ers have to support the cause as the non-believers that have never flown in an RAF, just can't comprehend what they're missing out on. SALUTE!

Cheers :)

You may be right, Harry.

Fuzzy Mugwump, the cokehead says; “How do those so called ‘experts’, the pharmacologists, physiologists and physicians know cocaine is a dangerous and addictive drug if they’ve never snorted it?”

“I’ve been snorting it for a couple of years and know better. Only once did I run out of money and have to rob a convenience store to get a fix.”

No comment other than..."To each his own."

The Bensen style offset gimbal rotorhead does a pretty good job of masking instability and misleads some into believing the science of flight is nonsense.

Now Steve, rig up a stick lock and do the same. If it doesn’t turn upside down in less than a minute, you may have a stable gyro.

I’m well aware that gyros aren’t normally flown with locked sticks except for those (A&S-18A, MC J-2) with swashplate cyclic control but not everyone maintains the same grip on the stick. Some have a chokehold; some fly with fingertip pressure. The pilots who’ve learned to float the stick may survive for some time while flying unstable machines.

But the fact that some pilots have mastered the tricks for flying tailheavy and unstable aircraft in no way justifies flying such machines.

I’m sure Chuck E. could fly a C-150 loaded well past the CG aft limit but do you think he would go around saying; “CG doesn’t make any difference?”

Steve,

It looks like you’re moving the stick fore/aft a lot to me. These are small movements and you may not even notice them.

I got used to taking lessons in a AAI modified RAF, and when I took 3 hours in a stock RAF with stabilator learning to make those small movements seemed like a LOT of work to me. Having to anticipate the nose movement and knowing if I didn’t I would get into a lot of trouble made for a very stressful ride for me.

In my gyro I don’t do that.

I can see how someone who learned to fly like that would get used to it over time, not notice what they’re doing, and think “there’s nothing wrong with this, it’s how gyros fly”.

You almost got it Michael. I would think this..."there's nothing wrong with this, it's how MY GYRO FLIES."

Quite a difference. I've never said that all gyros fly the same as my machine, cause I know they don't. My machine flies pretty damn good. No complaints. ;) :D

Cheers :)

It’s been a long time ago, but I recall that’s the way Mary Popins (Julie Andrews) had to fly her broomstick to keep it right side up; a constant jiggling motion.
