Marion is getting her machine ready to fly again. All of us in Chapter One are helping, its going to be our first project.

Dave and Pete took the engine off and gave to Ed Nielesky to go thru and get it in working condition.

Its been around 10 years since Marion has flown her gyro. Marion tells us she will take it slow and go thru all the steps like she taught all her students in the past to present, like me. I hope to be by her side and watch as she takes those first steps back to flight.

Marion was presented with a Pioneer award for Autogiro to Gyroplane Past, Present and Future from the Aviation Industry at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York in 2003.

Here is a news cast of Marion on YouTube.

Keep us posted as I want to be there to see that smile on her face when she gets back in the air. She is a remarkable Lady and it would be wonderful to see her with that gleam in her eye playing with her love of gyros again.

A picture that always comes to my mind as pure pleasure is the one of Ken Wallis flying with his friend celebrating their birthdays, Ken at 90 and his friend John Miller at 90+. I can almost see that brilliant smile beaming from Marion’s face as she flies. Give her a hug for me and wish her my best.

Excellent news and excellent video. We wish her the best as she gets back in the air. Interesting prop on her gyro.

Excellant, I sure hope Marion has fun. Though I know she will. Thanks Tina

Here is some pictures of the day, when Dave and Pete took the 90 mac off Marion's gyro.

You can also see Marion supervising the event and her talking with Ed about the engine.

I think Marion was very happy that day. I think everyone was very happy that day. Starting up Chapter One again, helping Marion get on her way to getting her wings back.

Good for her this sport has a way of keeping one young and you reflexes keen she is an inspiration to us all.

I resubmitted the video because I forgot to put Marion's website in the credits.

If you all have not read her book yet, I highly recommend it. Especially if your new to gyros and even if you old to gyros. Marion has stories in there of other pilots and there experiences and how she got into gyros and her early training. A MUST READ FOR ANY GYRO NUT!!! www.msgyro.com
