On September 1, 2019, the EAA 172 Website EAA 172 had posted this remark:

September 13, 8:00am to September 14, 2019 – 8:00pm, 2019 : Peach State Rotorcraft Fly-In is a yearly event hosted by EAA Chapter 172 at Wrens Memorial Airport (65J). The event features Gyroplanes, Airplanes and other types of aircraft from around the Southeastern US. This is an unstructured event, but a good place to get up close and personal with a variety of machines and pilots.

Note that on the EAA 172 Website they are now calling it the Peach State Rotorcraft Fly-in rather than the Wrens Fly-in, though in their September 2019 newsletter they do list the fly-in as the Wrens Fall Fly-in.

On Wednesday, November 11, 2019, John Magnan set up the tent frames, put in the water, and wired up the electrical panel. He made sure the air conditioning worked well in the airport lounge as well as the television.

At 2:50 PM Dewey Young came with his highly modified Bensen gyro. He was accompanied by a friend Joe Crosby. Soon Dewey's cousin Tim Seedley from Waterboro SC showed up.

Dewey, Joe, and Tim helped John finish setting up the two tents, putting on its top and pounding in the stakes. Dewey and John moved all the chairs available (about 30) under the tents. So the tents and the lounge were completely ready for all the gyronauts who will be arriving in the succeeding days.
