Hello again everyone! We have returned from an 8000 mile road trip.We had fun (most of the time)!

We hit alot of states & stayed at many campgrounds & state parks.

We delivered a new Air Command to the Shasta Mt. area in California, & picked one up in Illinois to bring home.

I am overwhelmed by the amount of posts I will have to catch up on!

So for now I will just say hello & will give more details later.

We are sorry to say that we could not make SX days & mentone, but we hope to come to ROC. So I hope everyone that does go to either has a safe & fun time.

Hi MJ ! Say Hi to catfish for us!

Are you going to Mentone ?

Chris and Shar: It is always a pleasure talking to you two. By the way.....you left a locking cable on my driveway. I can either mail you the cable....or you mail me the key so I can use it. :D

Please.....change your mind about Mentone......... :)

Stan

Thanks Stan! I am in total confusion here at home. I will get all the details of the trip posted soon.

I was just out front of my house, which somehow didn't get broken into in my absence, & an elderly lady across the street needs her electric dryer connected. How could I say no?

My yard is like a jungle & we havent even unpacked the camper yet. The weather here is ugly(hot & humid with rain).

Bill wants to come get his gyro this week & I don't even know if I have to work yet.

We probably won't make Mentone but you can give that lock to Larry B., if you would.

Chris,
Iwas just wondering how your trip went and am glad to here you made it safe! How far did your mom make it? It was a pleasure to meet you and your family. Can't wait to hear some stories of your adventure.

Brandon, We would really like to thank you for the great time we had with you out there in Williams, AZ.

Tristen is really enjoying her autographed copy of "Jimmy's" CD.

If we could have hung out with people like you, the trip would have been spectacular. Our time with you was one of the best. We truly enjoyed the Grand Canyon. We got to drive the camper with gyro in tow along the usually bus guided roads.

Believe it or not Mom made it the whole way.

I regret not having my camera on the trip to your place. Please share some photos of your SparrowHawk with all of us. It is a beautiful creation.

Did Perry's man ever come for the airplane?

Now that our camera is unloaded I will start posting pictures until you are all bored.

1-Camper in garage having new bearings installed in rear differential. ($895.00)
2-Spending 2 days in front of the garage office waiting for job to be finished.
3-Chris playing his guitar in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame (Nashville TN)

Chris,
Glad your Mom made it! While it is tough to pack so many in tight quarters for a long trip I bet many quality memories were made and will be with Tristen, Char, your Mom and You forever. (Glad nobody had access to a butcher knife on the tough days!)

I haven't heard a word from Perry, although I sent him an email that after 1 year I was going to charge him storage, maybe that will get him moving. I have been so busy working I have had no time to work on the gyro. Should slow down in a month or so and I hope to get her finished and in the air. Here is a couple pictures after mounting the prop last night. I look forward to hearing and seeing more of your trip.

Thanks for the pics , Brandon. We love your gyro & that is a prop !

We are going to spend the day with Parke Hoover to help with his hang test & check out the progress on his Tandem Elite Air Command, powered by an EJ-22.

Here are some more pics & a map shot of our entire trip....8000 miles!

Tristen in the Petrified Forest museum.
