Hi

Back in 2012 Wagtail ( of South Africa ) took delivery of a Xenon/Zen XL cabin.

This is the three seater version.

Wagtail are an innovative lot and have developed numerous gyro developments including an armed Xenon ( machine gun and grenade launcher ).

The "XL" cabin has become the Wagtail LDG - I *think* it's intended as a kind of utility gyro, take the two rear seats out and you can a light cargo area.

Wagtail have now published some photos of this project - take a look at the link below and you see a number of photos showing the mods

different engine - larger propeller, revised booms.

Hopefully Wagtail will publish more in due course as the project develops further.

Good day Steve. Thank you for the kind words. There has been a lot of new developments, and yes the LDG stands for light delivery gyro. The intent being, to either transport 2 x pax or having 2 x 120 kg / 260 lbs drop boxes where emergency supplies can be dropped. This when there is challenges with weather, difficult terrain etc. See can also be used for medical extraction, where a medic is flown in with kit and then stabilizing the patient. The LDG is not in competition with a helo but the step between an ambulance (road) and helicopter by air. The intent being to have a quick response and capitalizing on the golden hour.
We are also in the process of working on an autonomous drone that can be remotely programmed for a specific mission. This should be flying towards middle next year with a 500 kg / 1000 lbs payload.
