Henry Boger in LA posted this video 2 days ago.
I visited Henry about 3 days ago and took my brother who lives in LA with me so he could get a gyroplane intro flight lesson.
I thought the video is good. I would not be letting the stick go after landing till the rotor is stopped but that is just him demonstrating the Flight-Brake switch function and pumping up the air pressure in AG gyroplanes.

Everything is this video is basics. One should not be soloing till these things are second nature. The mechanism of trim or actuation of pre-rotation might be different but in general all new machines pretty much have the same procedures in concept.

rather a lot
I have not flown that specific model, but those patterns look enormous and very shallow to me, with excessively long float and ground rolls.

Yeah the pattern is long but he may be doing that for demonstration of things people do on final. He says pull throttle to 3200 RPM which if he pulled to idle it would probably get to 2500. So, the float is because there is some power left in and he is coming in faster (70 plus mph) instead of at 60 mph. None of that however distracts from the common mistakes he is pointing out on TO and landing.
