Too all my brother and sister veterans.

May the Almighty continue to bless you and your families for the sacrifices you all have made defending our Nation!

Please during the day, stop, think and pray for all our troops that are deployed all around the world in harms way that they may return to their families safe and complete.

At 11:30 am, the 173 fighter wing, OANG, out of Kingsley Field, Klamath Falls, OR. flew a fly-over of Cave Junction at our dedication ceremony of the new Veterans Memorial Plaza at Jubilee Park, CJ. It was quite a thrill as they made two passes right over town, made you proud to be an American!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The pilots would leave Kingsley, fly over the Cascade Mountains then fly over the Siskiyou Mountains, drop down into our little valley surrounded by mountains on all sides, must have been a thrill for the pilots also.

At our annual Veterans Day / Remembrance Day event here in Santa Clarita, the guest speaker was an RAF Pilot (Squadron Leader) and RAF Chaplain. She is presently assigned here in Southern California (Santa Clarita) as an exchange officer. I had a wonderful conversation with her. Also in attendance were two exchange officers from the Royal Thai Army. Their escort officer, a U.S. Army Captain is from Santa Clarita and brought them to the event to experience how Americans honor their veterans. It was enjoyable to speak with these two Royal Thai Army officers and listen to how impressed they were with the celebration.
