Using micropourous infusion lines

Has anyone done any resin infusion parts using micropourous lines instead of spiral that is usually used. Supposedly for highly complex resin flows or where degassing in resin mix is not good, this can help. Just looking for someone who by chance has used it for complex parts and shapes and what their results were compared to spirals.
