used vhf base unit

Any one have a good used base unit for sale? I need one to set up for bensen days . The hand held s are ok I can hear ok but the hand held radios do not reach out far enough from the ground.

Or you could just improve your antenna which would be required for a base unit anyway.

I suppose that I could do that but the rig that Charlie had was far better than a handheld with a larger antenna/differant antenna
