I can raise my nose wheel anytime I want to after 200 Rotor RPM,what you don't want is

to have the nose come off the ground and then make contact with it later on after the

torque corrrection to the rudder has moved the nose wheel out of alignment. you have no

clue as to now dangerous it is to have the nose wheel back come in contact with the

ground after it has turned sideways. To advise people not to make modifications that will

make there machine safer is really something you should stay out of.

With some of your comments I can't believe that you are still associated with the PRA.

Chuck (or anyone), is there a similar gyroscopic coupling in gyro's (prop and main rotor) even though the main rotor is unpowered?

I am enjoying the discussion but I do not see how these effects (and there understanding or lack thereof) have led to accidents? These effects are embedded in the flight characteristics and are easily handled through proper training.
