Current Price is $16,995.00 and includes everything you need to fly. This includes an MZ 202 60 HP engine and an electric pre-rotator. This will fly up to a 225 lbs. pilot with reasonable performance (at sea level).

I don't know how many kits have been sold at this point. (sorry)

Hey ole mate Doug,
Dont forget the cost of the 'build' component. AND the fact that it is a turn key elec start. Pre Rotator
Will give 210 plus rrpm mutiple spin ups off of the lithiam battery.
I will post some video from OshKosh when i get time. This 60hp Butterfly is a little pocket rocket.

As to numbers sold.......I bought/built the second ultralight some 8 or 9 years ago but it was a 503 rotax no elec start, no pre-rotator. I personally know of 6 units sold, including this one going to Arizona and another being crated for shipping to Perth Western Australia.

Oh yeah we have another Monarch headed to Brisbane, Qld Australia.

I don't know how many are flying but I just sold the second one I have sold as a Dealer and I asked Larry how many have been sold at this point and he said he has now sold 12 of the Butterfly Ultralight models. I know he had built several of them so I suspect there are at least several of them already flying. But who knows if those guys frequent the Forum.
