uAvionix echoUAT is getting mandated updates...

Hi Peter, it just made sense to use the TN72 since that and my transponder are both Trig products and work seamlessly together.
I had the same dilema, but the echoUAT brings so much more functionalities, and actually lower overall cost. HAving ADSB In and Wifi connection to my EFB was the clincher for me.

I agree Peter! I am using the Stratus 3 for ADSB in, which I got at a bargain, and it also gives me a backup AHRS.

My ADSB Out with my eCHO-UAT is working. Not sure why the altitude is not recording. I added the eCHO-ALT and its software during installation. https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/N659AT/history/20240831/2253Z/1TA7/1TA7

Is the Pressure Altitude field filled out in the EchoUAT app on your phone?

I'd check the https://adsbperformance.faa.gov/PAPRRequest.aspx - it might be a Flightaware artifact (their UAT coverage is nowhere near as good as their 1090 coverage.)

No that field is blank on the app and all the programmable fields are filled out properly.

That's odd, it's shown a value on the 3 I've installed. Did you install both software updates? (Device 1 is the EchoUAT, Device 2 is the EchoALT)

I will double check the updates. When I went to the website I recall that it said that one update would take care of both.

Thank you for the tip! I found the correct files. Just updated both devices and about to test fly it.

Problem solved and confirmed during the test flight! UAT Test

It is normal for it to only read above 800' altitude.
