Not a trailer I know but this was my setup, 4x4 truck with a crane to lift gyro on and roof racks that extended out long enough to carry two sets of blades in an assembled state. All lifted on and off and setup ready to fly in about ten minutes.
Finally got around to making a blade hoist which I needed to get the rotor on before I could get to a pre test of the electric pre-rotator I've been working on.
Things have been slow to develop but getting back on track now and looking positive. Short video of my progress. I plan to post more on the pre-rotator in the ongoing Electric Pre-rotator Post here
Hello....I am involved in building a tractor gyro looking something like an old Cierva with radial engine. Has anyone eperience of using an electric pre-rotator for 30ft blades using thyristor control for start and speed control? Any information would be useful. Thanks Skyjinks
Adding some angle shots and close up of winch. Sourced a winch from Ebay and a pully from Lowes. Materials are from the scrap pile.
The smoke tinted winch cover is a roof vent for trailers I cut to fit.
It works on the base of electrical power system of car itself! It is not easy to break or malfunction. With strong pulling power, easy operation. 1 Wireless remote. A fully-assembled item with wide applications.
