The making of Behemot

oouch, you already got a BooBoo Gabor. More to come before it's all finished I'm sure.

Well!! I take it from the bull-dragon, there will be no more talk about weight then.....can't wait to see the end result. I have no doubt it will be cool and fly.....

Let me say that I heartily approve of another "full figure" gyro. Bravo!

...besides...I hear that behemot tastes just like chicken if you cook it right. :boink:

Look forward to the build. Yup pressure cooker certainly speeds up the long slow cooking Gabor. Do my oxtail in it, comes out great. Tastes magnificent and makes you into a big strong Behemoth.

The biblical description sounds a lot like a Hippo, and those guys can be real mean. Kill lots of people in Africa.

'Behold Behemoth,
which I made as I made you;
he eats grass like an ox.
Behold, his strength is in his loins,
and his power in the muscles of his belly.
He makes his tail stiff like a cedar;
the sinews of his thighs are knit together.
His bones are tubes of bronze,
his limbs like bars of iron.
He is the first of the works of God;
let him who made him bring near his sword!
For the mountains yield food for him
where all the wild beast play.
Under the lotus plant he lies,
in the covert of the reeds and in the marsh.
For his shade the lotus tree covers him
the willows of the brook surround him.
Behold, if the river is turbulent he is not frightened;
he is confident though Jordan rushes against his mouth.
Can one take him with hooks,
or pierce his nose with a snare?'
-Job 40:15-24

Kandace- Just steppiqng off topic here- you are my hero. How many helicopter hours do you have now? Over a 100 by now I would guess? Stan

I'm only up to 92 heli hours. :-( I'm plugging away. I went today as a matter of fact.

Gabor, I have one of Jakes tools that you would be welcome to borrow, since I am not building anything right now.as long as you promise I get it back. :)

Good looking jig Gabor. Makes our first one look very inferior. We then got Jakes.

We had a few discards due scoring with our first. Expensive.

So do you use a fluted drill for the first bushing hole and then use the center drill for the far-side hole? Did you make that jig? Impressive idea.....

Handy friends Gabor.:)

choppergabor :
What kind of a/c is this? I was just wondering.........

Do like the jig. Great work!

That is some expensive aluminum for any mistake to make. Actually, I don't think it was a mental error at all…..it simply shows that you desperately need an optometrist for reading glasses.....

Gabor, I see when you get really pissed, you chew on the end of your hammer. :mad:
