Airgyro AG915 Centurian, Aviomania G1sb
Total Flight Time
Gyroplane 70Hrs, not sure over 10,000+ logged FW, 260+ ultralights, sailplane, hang-gliders
We had a great fly-in. Many remarked that it was the 2nd best attended since our 50th adversity.
We did a hands count in the pilots briefing and had 32 gyro's there on Thursday.
We counted those coming in on Friday and we had 47 at least. We may have missed a few flying in on Friday and Saturday with all the activity so we could tell or not count any gyro's flying in at all.
We also had a total of 13 Fixed Wings many coming in on Saturday really adding to the count.
We had 5 helicopters fly-in.
We had over 500 one day pass visitors and that does not count the hundreds that showed up after 4:30 when we stop working the gate.
For the Fireworks display the field full of cars many locals.
We did not have a way to count people that registered this year. We will by next year but suspect it was a couple of hundred at least.

Good job .... WELL done .... John, Brent, Robert & Nevada, Jane& JR, Gary G, Joanne in the canteen, especially George & Mary who pulled more than the fair share with little public recognition ..... the few behind the scenes did SO much ... pulled off a. GREAT convention! THANK YOU ALL .... and those who I didn't know well enough to name who worked so hard all week!
Next year ....it WILL be necessary to be the week before OSH ..... without the help of the school-age volunteers in the canteen & gate ...... it is just too much for too few of the oldies!😬😕...... I plan to arrive early and help everywhere I can .... the setting up, preparation and all is a huge task for the few locals and early arrivals!

Having the banquet on Saturday will hold back a few of the early exodus ..... it was stupid having only two active CFIs left on the major public day .... I hope everyone who wanted a. Gyro experience ... got a flight!

Congratulations to all involved on a great convention ... despite the weather extremes!

Here you go my friends...

Dick De Graw introduced his, top secret, two place jump takeoff gyroplane.
Dick is willing to license this technology to a manufacture as he doesn't have the time to invent and manufacture. Just contact Popular Rotorcraft Association and we will get you in touch with Dick.
