The engine - the heart of any machine... and that goes double for flying machines.

I opted for a modified 912 engine - Niki offers a flight and usage tested turbo modification providing 120 horse powers. Currently I fly with a 914 engine and I love its performance, so making the switch would still give me comparable power with a lower price tag.

Due to the confined space in the enclosed engine compartment, there is a need for some planning on which components go first, like gas tanks, electrical control boards, etc.

Peter, would you mind taking a picture of the 'throttle cable splitter' and how you attached and routed those throttle cables, please?

Will do... The throttle splitter is a cylinder with one entry on one side, going to the cabin, and two exits on the other, going to the carbs. Inside of the cylinder is where the single cable pulls the other two...

Thanks, Chuck, I know what they look like as I have one with my kit. I'm looking for installation info (CPS had none).
Thanks, Peter. Yes, that is the splitter that I have and I need installation ideas.
