Finally got a couple tail shots of the Sycamore. Although it was 94 degrees today, I couldn't combat the urge to fly any longer. And yes, the "wife beater" is standard aviation fashion.

Ron,

Most software that lets you save pix as JPEG files has a function called "quality". On mine, I get a choice in the box where I type in the filename to be saved. Slide the bar from 100% down to 80%, and the difference in quality is barely visible, but the file size drops about 75%.

My camera starts out at 2048-x-1536 in "large" mode. I usually reduce the photo size to 512-x-384 first, then reduce the quality to 85%, and they're usually under 50K.
