We have lot those windmills now, Germany has one of the highest ratios of eco-friendly vs. fossile energy.

A typical village, you see the meandering roads of the traditional core (red roofs) and the later addition of orderly lined up houses with grey roofs.

I wish I had a nice video as well, but the camera was in the wrong angle and I never noticed

so all my video looks like this, but alas, you can see shorts and short sleaves. We don't have that kind of weather often for flying.

is there a Good Duerkheim?

Thanks for a super thread of photos.
I had a pm asking me how I put my photos in my thread with text between each photo. However I find your layout and presentation much better, can you explain to us how you created your thread?

Haha, that is a good one. "Bad" means "Spa". There is a commitee, where cities can apply to get the title "Bad" appointed, if they offer any special health or recreational features, like hot-springs, particularly clean air etc. Then those cities can raise Spa-taxes from people staying over night. A crazy system, you cannot go to a German North-Sea Coast without paying entrance-fee. If you cross the boarder to the Netherlands, it's for free.

Hello Mike,

When you have uploaded pictures with "manage Attachments" you can find them in the drop down menu of the paperclip, next to the smiley in the top menu.

OK so do you reduce the size of your photos to be able to up!oad them with manage attachments? I download my photos to photobucket and copy/paste the link. I must confess I do it that way because I lost the software that allowed me to reduce the size of photos:eek:.

That's awesome Kai, well done (nice legs by the way)

Mike, if you are using windows, open the pic in 'paint' (right click, open in paint) click 'resize' if about 2mb pic, try about 20 (%) and then rename (so you keep the original as well) and save the file and see what size it is, then get it to just below 150kb. In all my pic files, I have a 'reduced' folder to put the smaller ones in. :yo:

Actually the forum will now resize the photos automatically during the upload.

Hello Mike,

re-sizing is indeed not necessary any more for this forum, however, it does reduce upload times. On Windows there is a free tool called Prish-resizer, which gives you a right-click option for photos. So you can click 5 photos with ctrl key and then right click and choose "resize". You can configure your standard size, and if you want to give the smaller ones new names and/or put them into a separate folder (my choice).
On Mac you can build something similar with automator.
And then there is always Gimp, a fully-fledged, free image processing software, with similar power as photoshop, but less intuitive to use.
