I am not a mechanic and I need help with my Mikuni dual carb EA81 Subaru. The engine is idling too slow. After landing, if I chop the power it will stall out. How do I adjust the idle speed? I figure it must be the larger of the two adjustment screws but do I do one carb or adjust both equally? What should the idle RPM be? I am guessing 1500?

Also, I need to replace the rubber mounts since they are showing signs of rubber rot. How do I know what size to get? I don't see any markings on the carb other than Mikuni.

Thanks in advance!

800-1000, big screws, EQUALLY. Use a carb synchronizer if you can. Carb rubber mounts?, measure the carb outlet and engine inlet, order from snowmobile supplier. Or heavy duty truck radiator hose, if carb and engine inlet are same size.

I am thinking the RPM needs to be higher than 800-1000 due to the redrive? It has an Autoflight redrive.
