I just solved the same problem on a Rans S-10 with Rotax 582 and Bing carburetors. It would run fine up to 4,800 RPM, then bog down if I tried to run higher. Turned out 1 carb. float bowl was overflowing fuel because the float needle would no longer control the fuel flow. I rebuilt the carbs. with rebuild kits from Aircraft Spruce which cured it.

Mr Don Parham, the speed sensor needs to be tricked so it needs a module which Don Parham has that needs to be wired into the speed sensor wire . It prevents a limp mode from occurring on the engine at high RPMs. Does any body know Mr Parham or can anyone help get a module. This is what my sparrowhawk EJ25 subaru is doing need help thanks e-mail [email protected]
