I received my airworthiness certificate yesterday and today I took my SparrowHawk up for its first legal flight.

Ron....you were right....I had it up in Febuary....far earlier than I thought myself. I guess you know me quite well.:D

It handled like a dream......

I set my electric trim to any speed I wanted to fly at....and just let go of the cyclic.

My rotor is not real smooth...but I will fine tune it later. Right now I am just getting the feel of it.

WOO HOO !! Congratulations Stan !!

Thanks guys. I havent hardly noticed the five months going buy without flying. I really enjoyed seeing this SparrowHawk coming together. I almost miss it in my shop...but it belongs in the hanger. I will exercise it regularly. I am going to chop at those 40 hours......:D

John: I dont know about ROC. I have always wanted to go to that one and El Mirage.

Stan M'man, great stuff,:D

Ya know, with all the sunshine radiatin' from within that machine, it's no wonder it didn't turn those brown fields to green, for those first photos, anyway.

Congratulations.

Cheers :)
