What if you land near by and drag your gyro like a dog on a leach fill it up and drag it back to a field that would be a lot less dangerous and acceptable?

But I have a light bensen easy to move around.

My spanish is not that great. What is the real story with this guy?

He is a former county mayor accused of corruption, and his party don't let him assume like a parlamentary deputy .....and is the ELA representative in Argen
tina.....

Friend of mine in Thailand drove his paramotor trike down the freeway to town because his motorbike was broken. He pulled into a shop. Created a bit of a crowd, and the police came up. My friend thought, oops I pushed my luck a bit to far, the cop separates the crowd and guides him back onto the road. lol.

A very nice-looking gyro, the Eclipse...

A Titanium owner - this week!

Posted this on FB ..... so I am reposting here!

Off to MAD MAX WEEK ... held at Silverton NSW ( West of Broken Hill) ...a place we'd refer to as "beyond-the-black-stump"!......nothing but wilderness until the Flinders ranges in South Australia (about 400km west!)

drop in to the little "dot-on-the-map" town of Ivanhoe to refuel the gyro! (~ 350km SE of Silverton)

Although ... this outback run would be the most direct route for me to fly South Aust to my family place in Qld ( next month)... it looks terribly remote - to be going it alone! :yo: Sam!

3 years ago, I saw a friend (anonymous) land on a road outside of Xenia IL., taxi into
the Citgo station,on the western outskirts of the small town,fill-up his 7 gal. tank, taxi
one -half mile back (on the highway), then take-off.He did this while 2 of us circled our gyros.
We had been to a fly-in at Olney. This was the second time,as he did the same the year before. Fighting the headwind,he never had enough gas to make it back to Centralia.
Big Dawg

An early scheme for the U.S. Interstate Highway system was that there'd be airstrips in back of the on-highway fuel stops. G.A. planes (remember, there were going to be millions of them once all those WWII vets rushed out to buy them) could land and fuel up on gasoline and hamburgers.

We were endlessly hopeful and naive back then.
