Moderation is thankless and totally subjective. I think the response to this action had gone on way to long.

I volunteered to take on moderation but never got a response from Todd. I also don't think that moderation should be voted on. A moderator uses best judgment to do what needs to be done. Feedback should be between the moderator and member, not like we are seeing here! This is going on way to long.

You are so smart (not like other people on this Forum) and help again and again to open eyes to so many, more simple (than you) folks, who walked lost, begging for guides. One word: savior. Sweet dreams.

Mike, This Rotary Forum (members only) is a very unique one, considering enormous theoretical and practical data it possesses , pertaining to gyros and gyro people (alive and gone). So, there is not many other sand boxes, where you can play gyros otherwise.

Membership here has no requirements other than putting in a request, from my experience, but I hear you.

This forum, and it's content are not being lost, as far as I can tell. One person decided to leave...a few others took self imposed timeouts.

There are always options, however. For example, I am just guessing that he may just have gone to option "SW Forum" to rant (as have others in the past). He is still out there somewhere and can be reached, I would think.

BTW, that "SW Forum" seems to be focused on non-moderation and was developed as just such an alternative IIRC. If people don't want moderation, is that not a viable option? It looks like it could use some traffic and content.

Stay here for the content and head there for unmoderated "fun"? It is just a few clicks away...

Good morning. I think I do understand the problem, but this isn't about me. I am not trying to "solve" the issue. I am just voicing my observations. I don't know anybody on this forum other than by what they post.

It appears to me that nobody sent Ben anywhere...he took himself out. He can stay if he wants, but he chooses not to.

Just a suggestion, go over to the SW Forum and read his diatribe.
