With the overbearing govenment doing nothing but creating unenforceable rules and regulations at a maddening pace, and the average joe seeing that criminals are being given special consideration all the time it is just a very small hop skip and a jump for the population to revolt en masse into civil disobedience and the wholesale non-payment of taxes.
The misinformed emotional idots say defund the police? I say defund the alpabet letter gangs. Just quit paying taxes and go stright to a cash/barter system.
You guys think the FAA is being jack waggons? Try making money selling guns!

They say it can hit 208 knots, and they plan to incorporate GyRhino's jump takeoff technology. 😲

They're saying this initial model has a battery-limited flight endurance of 54 minutes, but that their future high-speed model will fly as long as 2.5 hours. 😲 😲

They plan to sell them for $160K each.
None of those claims are made about the gyro on display at Oshkosh. He's talking about the gyrodyne-based test bed.

Regarding the Nano test mule, if they've actually created a lightweight electric ducted fan which can make 170 pounds of thrust, then instead of using two, build one motor that makes rated power at 2400 RPM with no gearbox and give it a 66-inch prop. Given the same kW ratings, you'd have 40 HP continuous, 53 HP at takeoff, 300+ pounds of peak thrust, and power would not degrade with altitude. That could be great fun on a light, open, single-place machine!

As for this particular medium providing a platform for Dan Preston to publicize his latest promises, he's a prospective advertising client with really deep pockets. Looking the other way on his background to cultivate the relationship was probably irresistible.
