SKYSPORTS 2-1/4 ROTOR TACHOMETER Install Help.

What is the safety wire holding?
The sensor bracket I made that is epoxied to the rotor head assembly. I did not want to drill and tap holes. I am also looking for advice on a better way to safety wire around a square.

When the gauge is powered, it does a sweep from 0 - 700 and back. The needle is also illuminated.

Best way is to drill and tap some 10/32 holes and secure it with screws.

That would work but honestly it’s over kill. On top of that it will weaken the torque tube. You want to maintain as much meat as possible. The way I suggested is plenty strong. It’s the way Dad did it on many builds.
