Where might I acquire replacements for the brake pad/straps for the Dominator brakes? These are the bands that go around the outside of the drum.

Thanks

It gets the concept across. Disk brakes. I like that, though the finances right now won't support that. Those will be an upgrade later this year though. Good brakes are one of those really nice things to have when you need them.

I believe they're Azusa go-kart brakes. Any Azusa dealer should be able to get parts for you. Most aircraft mailorder houses have or can get them, too.

I'm not sure what Ernie uses? I've never seen Azusa brakes, mine are disc brakes twin piston made by Autoflight here in NZ. Available through Ernie at RFD. These breaks are designed to work with the spun cast wheels ( heat treated ) made in Australia by Eddies Tooling. Specifically desined for the Dominator gyro.

Are the drums on the Dominators the 4" drums? Northern Tool and Equipment has the 4" bands for a good price. Speaking of price, what do the Autoflight disk brakes cost? With master cylinder and all?

Not a bad price, though it's gonna have to wait till I find a job. Just moved to California from Maryland. Thanks for the quick replies.
