wow guy's you made this topic come alive thanks.

I look at yours and they all look to be Far 103 unlike mine that is almost 350lbs

I notice some pics are old school and some are recent who's still flying there?

in 6 months if everything goes my way I should be starting my solo run's in mine.

I don't have any real good pictures of mine yet but here's a couple I stole from the Wrens thread. It took me about a year of tinkering (I do still work for a living) to get her in the air.

First test flight was last Saturday at Wrens. I start training next Wednesday.

My Gyro is almost 350lbs but till a few weeks ago I was 260lbs but down to 250lbs and I still plan to lose more.

I'm really falling in love with my Bensen, but.... so not looking forward to hand starting it.

32X52 Tennessee, rare earth magneto magnets, ported, Mikuni super BN carb, snapringed nose bearing, crankshaft intake window work, dynamically balanced crank and prop, free flow exhaust, runs 360 deg cht on mo gas. Sport copter castering nose wheel, mountain bike independent main brakes, sport rotors, gear drive prerotator, sport copter like main suspension, just added a foot to the tail boom and a better rudder.

Gyro was a 1966 Bensen built by a member of the Beoing aircraft employees gyrocopter club Seattle when I first got it in parts with a 72 Mac.

I wanted to build a suspension like yours. but I will keep this like it is now till i'm done my training. maybe I fix her up after or sell to buy a 2 seater.

Sure lots of nice mods on your Gyro.

Maybe so, but nearly all of the gyro is out of your line of sight while flying, and FLYING is why we have them.

In other words, looks only count when you're on the ground.

Mine has been a hanger Queen last 5 to 6 years. But I'm going to change that.
