Set up of mechanical pre-rotator on subaru ej

Dear Gyro nuts, wondering how to set up mechanical cable pre-rotator on subaru ej 20 engine.

i built v belt reduction drive , with ratio of 2:1 that enabled me to get 211kgs of stactic thrust .

I am having trouble to set up mechanical cable pre-rotator , this cable engages the rotor head while turning right rotation,

But the upper pulley of the reduction drive , that would be i deal for setup , turns left rotation.

Any plans, ideas , to make this mechanical prerotator work , are very welcome .....

I have seen upper units with 2 gears or 3 gears; this will accommodate either direction of cable rotation.
