I hope to find someone who knows a place to purchase a 2 inch diameter 84inch axle for a gyro copter? I see axles on Amazon, but I honestly don t know if it would fit my craft or not. It's for an RAF2000. The present axle is 5 ft in length. I want to bump it up to 7 for stability on takeoff and landings. Any help is appreciated.

I think what you are looking for is 6061T6 aluminum 2" round for the axle. Purchase what length you want and replace the current axle.

Personally I would not change it. It comes down to training and pilot proficiency.

My axles are 2 piece chrome molly tubing. Denis at Gyro Technic upgraded with new spindles, calipers, rotors. Not sure what you are after but definitely worth talking with him.
