Can someone please identify the screws that attach the seat tank back brace to the mast on the Dominator (see photo)? Size, length, threads. Are they grade 8 like the rest of the hardware? Are they loctited in place?
The previous owner of my gyro removed them, because he thought a hard landing might rip the seat tank open. However, I don't like the idea of the brace vibrating freely against the mast, and I'm sure Ernie considered this possibility when he designed it, so I want to replace them before I attempt to fly it.
