I have been flying my KB3 in Ocotillo Wells, it is a lot of fun flying at sea level, and it is nice to fly in an area where people have never seen a gyro. But it gets hot there, already been 118, so it was time to take it back to El Mirage. I went and picked it up and forgot my rudder lock. I thought it would be ok, but it wasn't. When I got to El Mirage doing my preflight, I found both the ruder cables were frayed. Just a heads up, if you are going to trailer your gyro use a rudder lock.
