Not sure where this should be posted.

Planning a gyro trip mid-February from W. Colorado to Casa Grande with an overnight stop in Gallup NM. My wife will be driving the motorhome while I fly. Open to any invitations and suggestions.

Looks like a nice RV campground is available at Red Rock Park, about 12 miles away from GUP, but I have yet to check on other possibilities at, or nearer to, the GUP airport. A hangar offering would be great!

Plans are to attend the Feb 17 Buckeye air fair, stay and visit with Mesa (FFZ) and Casa Grande (CGZ) friends and attend a Rotax maintenance school offered at Ryan Airfield (RYN).

I thought it was Gallup!
Not sure I understand your comment. Sorry if i was unclear.

I am flying from my home field in Crawford CO to Casa Grande AZ, planning to Remain Over Night (RON) in Gallup NM, and looking for suggestions for friendly support and secure parking.

The rest of my itinerary was given in hopes of meeting other gyronauts.

The thread title says "gallop", like a running horse, instead of Gallup, like the west NM town. I think that probably inspired the comment.

You got it right in the text of the posting but not the thread title.

I'm only about 12 miles from RYN....

THAT was helpful, and I have just edited the title with much embarrassment. Thank you!
