I was asked to bring an ole farm truck of mine to the Fair on Thursday night. I had a 257 foot pull. Left front tire was about a foot off the ground and the right front lifted the few inches. The crowd went nuts. 2nd place in the Outlaw class, and a $55.oo purse. and it was fun also.

Mighty old truck there! What is it Dave?

Nice pull David!

Nice pull David!

She sounded great and the smoke looked good.

How much boost were you running?

Are you running a compound system?

Thank you, Vance

I purchased her 3 years ago, straight out of military service.
I have not done anything to it.
I have been considering a EGT, and Boost gauge so I could adjust the timing and up the fuel. The engine is a White and is rated at 143 hp.
But with the 762 gears, who needs horsepower.
It has make a really great farm truck.
I give rides all day long on the 4th of July festivities here.
A bunch of fun.
A really great friend is one of the sponsors of the truck pulls at out local fair, he asked me to put her in, more for show than pulling. They all run 1000hp modifieds in the Outlaw class. All those pullers were on the side having a big time - when they saw air.

Very cool. I have a friend who has an old military truck and goes to a lot of military vehicle shows. If I didn't have a gyro I'd love to have a duece. The bobbed Dueces look very cool. I was just watching a bunch of steel soldier videos last weekend on youtube showing them drive through water and mud.
