Raf 2000 conversion

Just wanted to let folks know that I purchased Sportcopters conversion kit for a used raf, Jim was great and had everything ready in 5 weeks so I was able to swing by his shop on my way through Portland where they helped me install the mast and rotor system. They also made several recommendations of things to check and repair or replace on the 18 year old machine.
He also took myself and wife up in the M2, we were both very impressed with the machine, I have flown a homebuilt ultralight and recently received training in a Magni so I don't have a lot of experience but the M2 was very easy to fly, nimble, responsive and stable. I wish Jim the best and am hopeful that the M2 production picks up.

Congratulations on your RAF purchase, which I hope goes well for you. The SC rotor upgrade was wise; I wonder why anybody still flies on the OEM RAF system. Did you get the air trim package as well?

I'm chagrined to read that Vanek is still taking people up in the prototype M2 to foment deposit orders for a model never likely to be delivered to the dozens of since-2017 customers, much less to new ones. It's coming on three years of self-described "production" since 12/2021, yet with no delivered kits? What an endless saga.
