Install an engine governor and an attitude sensor of some sort. A rapid change in pitch of so many degrees forward or to a preset attitude would trip the governor and instantly put the prop at idle or pull RPM back 1000 from what was pushed in. How does this sound in theory?

This has been discussed a few times in the past. I brought it up as a method to make 'vintage' gyros safer.

If I recall correctly, the general consensus ending up being that it is more reliable and easier to install an effective HStab and in extreme cases take some actions to reduce trust line offset.

I am still interested in the concept.
