I guess for me, whom has never subscribed to a political party for lack of fully understanding the differences, my voting options boil down to a simple binary decision. To simplify things, lets assume for the moment that neither party has a solution for anything. Taking that off the table we can compare apples to apples with regard to character, honesty, decency, etc. I won't re-express opinion that I have already shared in a previous post. I see the minutia of the platforms each candidate is running on as a secondary concern to the more urgent issues. So the choice, regardless of party, gets simplified to which is the more rational of the two. Regardless of how I feel about it, actions, history and evidence paint detailed pictures of each.

Germany 9331, US 189208 (!!!!)
Between the above article and today 49000 Americans have died versus 240 Germans. It's now 140000 Americans who could have been saved, had the Donald taken the right actions instead of reiterating "Oh, this will go away."

The death rate (deaths per day per capita) by the way, today in the US is 50 (!) times that of Germany.

The number of US deaths will unfortunately be above 190000 before the end of the week.

My personal observations driving from IN to CA for 32 hours at the beginning of September 2020.

All the states but Denver and CA where they yelled at you have to have a mask. Most of the people/locals at the gas stations and restaurants were not wearing masks. Inside the workers were mostly wearing masks but 10% of them weren't either.

It individual human behavior that spread diseases and no president in our history could control that unless they send in troops and no law or president will or has been able to control Americans free choice!

I don't really care about polls and they don't serve any other purpose (in my opinion) than to push the poll-taker's political preference.
That said, I do find it interesting that the more honest (barely) polls indicate that President Trump is gaining support.
I'm a firm believer that there is a "silent majority" that will quietly do the right thing in a few months.
